Let me begin this note with a standing ovation and heart brimming with pride and happiness for making my dream true with an exemplary masterpiece I could ever lay my hands upon. It had been a long time wish to get an Ajrakh modal silk and I have a saree freak cousin who suggested the golden tissue Pallu could make heads turn. That was the beginning of my never ending search for an extraordinary piece that could satisfy me in terms of colour, design, the pallu and most important of all the price!!! A chance encounter with the Okhai site and it was like love at first sight....yet I had apprehensions on the quality of it as we are seeing it online and not feeling it. Shared my confusions with a good saree freak best buddy who suggested the choice was beautiful and it was a cocktail saree of all sorts!! I decided why not I get an rare “cocktail “ piece...and rest is history! I was getting impatient when there was no reply after the purchase and mailed the customer care who assured the safe despatch of the item once the “making” process is over. That impressed me! Making a sari on order- sounds cools and the day arrived well before the scheduled date- the excitement and trembling still lingers in my mind to this date on how I opened the pack to behold the prized product!!!
Umpteen thanks to Okhai and to the lovely artisans for making a dream come true!! May God bless you all!!!
