Kota Mahila Bunkar Sansthan or Kota Women Weavers Organization (KWWO) was set up by the Rajasthan government to work for the holistic promotion and development of Kota Doria. The organizations work with the fundamental principle to promote and conserve the tradition of Kota Doria craft and its weavers. They currently engage 400 women weavers and are based in a village called Kaithun which is 18 km away from Kota City in Rajasthan. Hasina Banu is a weaver from KWWO, who has been working under this organisation for the last 15 years. Her family has been practicing this craft for the last 40-50 years and she has learnt the Kota Doria weaving from her mother. She makes exclusive Kota Doria sarees and dupattas in pure cotton + silk, silk, silk + zari.
