Shrujan's ‘Tana Bana’ multi-coloured hand embroidered mushroo pouch has been embroidered by the women of the Jat Garaasiya community from the Kutch region of Gujarat. The embroidery is done by counting the thread of the fabric. The designs are not printed and the artisan herself is the designer of the embroidery. This style is characterized by geometrical patterns in bright colours.
The mushroo cloth used in this pouch is handwoven in Kutch.
This multi-coloured 18 cms x 13 pouch is a versatile product to carry items while travelling; or at home to store your knick- knacks like jewellery, medicines, papers.
