Specifications: Hand Block Printed, Natural Dye, Authentic About Craft: Ajrakh Craft is Natural Dyeing and resist block printing technique on cloth. It is estimated to be around 4000 years old. Sindh region is said to be the birthplace of Ajrakh. The Ajrakh artisans from Khatri Community of Kutch in India are originally from Sindh and they migrated to Kutch in Gujarat India. Around 16-step process required to create a piece of Ajrakh fabric is what makes the outcome so beautiful and intricate. In the past forty years ajrakh has not only been transformed from a rustic block print into a popular fashion fabric, it has also become the signature cloth of the Khatri communities of Kachchh and is their most successful product.
