The art of applique work is native to several regions in Gujarat, it is believed to have its origins in French culture. The beauty of this technique allows for the creation of radically different textures and creates appealing minimalistic designs.
An ensemble even you didn't know that you wanted! Our artisans have crafted a 'Kanso' top for those days when you want to put on your A-game but don't feel like putting in the effort. 'Kanso' comes with box pleats along the waistline to flatter your body along with knife pleats on the two sides of the front yoke. We've used the reverse applique technique on this one, where each uneven-shaped motif is highlighted with a white shade running stitch. Lastly, wooden buttons at the back for closure.
