Collection: Apparel Natural Dyeing

Natural dyes are dyes obtained from plants, minerals & even from some invertebrate species. However, the majority of natural dyes are from plant sources—roots, berries, bark, leaves, and wood—and other biological sources such as fungi and lichens.

The process of natural dyeing involves putting of the dye material in hot water and then the textile to be dyed is added to the same. This is then heated and stirred until the color of the dye is extracted and transferred to the textile.
