Description

Bhil culture is vibrantly depicted in the art that decorates their homes. Firm outlines filled by flat colouration is the usual mode in a lot of Indian folk and tribal art. Bhil painting however is distinguished by a technique akin to the aboriginal art from Africa and Australia. The texture is created by fine dabs of paint made from vegetables and earth colours.
